I’m Nathalie — the creator and author of NathalieBakes.com.
I grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and I started baking when I was just tall enough to reach the counter. I got extra practice when I moved to England trying to recreate my favorite dishes from home. Now, I’m back in Switzerland (Zurich this time) and I scour Switzerland, France, the USA, and the rest of Europe for the best pastries and desserts.
I especially love fruit desserts, and to master challenging pastries. Don’t ask me how many times I’ve made croissants… and I’m still working to get them perfectly flaky and buttery!
When I’m not baking, I work in digital marketing.
Kathleen takes most of the pictures on NathalieBakes.com… and loves sampling the leftovers. When not photographing (and eating!) for Nathalie Bakes, she is a scientist.
